Grey is the New Black - in Wedding Stationery

I am a lover of grey - in any shade.  I couldn't necessarily live with it on walls but when it comes to clothes and artwork and accent colours in the home - I love it!

My wedding stationery customers seem to agree me with as my grey rose wedding invitations and save the dates are proving incredibly popular.

The rose border is taken from a vintage outline drawing and is all that is needed to decorate these pretty stationery items.  I love the downpipe grey against the ivory card too.

I have really expanded my typeface collection in the past year as monograms and combinations of fonts and typefaces is hot in wedding stationery right now.

I have used a feminine, script font for the bride and groom's names and teamed it up with a simpler, complementary font.

The save the date tags are single layered and strung with a vintage style dove coloured ribbon, invitations are unstrung, double layered and have all four corner rounded to match the save the dates.

New to my collection as well are 'bundle bands'. These are personalised paper bands that can be used to bundle together invitations with RSVPs and information cards before they are put into the envelope and sent off.

All items are available through my Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/ClaryceDesign

Just got engaged? Let everyone know!

Many congratulations on your engagement!

Those early days after the proposal are so joyful aren't they? Making guest lists, choosing a venue, buying the local newsagent out of bridal magazines!

As soon as you have your date and venue set in stone, you may want to consider sending out save the date cards.  These are a great way of you spreading the word about your happy news and also giving your friends and family a chance to put the date in their diaries well in advance.

Claryce design has a lovely selection of save the date that include flower, heart and birds designs, or these more simple tags with the bride and groom's monogram initials on and a lovely combination of tyepface used on the reverse.

The tags are strung with vintage seam binding and come with miniature envelopes that are printed with your initials and wedding date on the reverse flap.

The only problem with these lovely tags is which colour to choose!
